Happy Weekend! How was everyone’s first week of Spring? Mine started a little scatterbrained. I had a meeting at 8:30am on Monday and totally spaced it. I HATE being late and I hate missing meetings so that didn’t set a good tone for my week. That paired with a busy busy week of work events just really had me craving this weekend. I don’t have much else to share from this week but here are a few highlights:
I tried Blue Apron for the first time. My boyfriend and I had a gift card so we finally decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you, it was AWESOME. I totally see why people use it. The serving sizes were perfect, they gave you all of the ingredients measured out, and the food tasted BOMB. Like, I felt like a 5 star chef. I’d say the only downside is if you’re a picky eater because the 3 meals on our menu this week were pretty out there. Pan fried catfish, roasted pork, and chicken meatballs with some kale stuff. But really yummy overall and definitely a meal service I will use again.
It’s Spring! That’s the other exciting takeaway from this week. We can finally bring out all of our pastels and pinks. Which is why I decided to be bold and go with this black top for this outfit. haha BUT I did embrace the huge spring trend of frilly, large sleeved shirts. Shirt details are very in for spring and you will be seeing girls in big fun shirts everywhere. I love this one because the black color allows me to embrace the trend while staying understated and neutral. I also love these jeans. I found them for dirt cheap at Nordstrom Rack and linked to them below.
Anyway, I hope you all had a fantastic first week of spring. You can shop this whole outfit using the links below the photos! Let me know what you think by commenting below and have a wonderful weekend!
